Created from a 5 minutes hack of Mephisto, the Mephisto Theme Gallery soon took out a life of its own and turned into a much bigger project than anticipated (Funny how this happens!).

The Gallery allows you to see all available Mephisto templates in a live site, with several pages, several sections (including static pages), comments, tags and so forth…

If you like a theme, you can download it by using the “Download” button and it is ready to import in your own installation.

If you know of a theme, or you have developed one yourself, please use the submit button to upload it! Be sure to fill in all the details in the about.yml file (including original author if you ported the theme from some other system.

If you ported a theme to Mephisto, you can add 2 properties to the about.yml file, adapted_by and adapted_by_url.

For example, here’s the Cutline about.yml file:

title: Cutline (rhtml)
author: Pearsonified
version: 1.10
homepage: http://cutline.tubetorial.com/
summary: Today, you can put an end to boring default styling and step into a world where your posts will become more artistic, more engaging, and more compelling!
adapted_by: nano RAILS
adapted_by_url: http://blog.nanorails.com
